Embroidery Finishes

Embroidery finishes included any of several stitch techniques to add hand-sewn detail anywhere on a garment. Embroidery finishes can highlight the shape of a neckline, sleeve opening, hem or anywhere the sewist wishes to add a design flourish to the garment. Do not be intimidated to try this technique. Embroidery can be as simple as a running stitch with one color thread around a sleeve, neckline or hem, or as complicated as using multiple stitches in multiple colors.
